Greetings from the pitch at Le Moyne. We have ended our season at 14-2-2.  We finished second in the league and will host Bentley in a quarterfinal match on Sunday Nov 1 at 1pm at Le Moyne. I am extremely proud of the team as we just missed out on winning the league championship by 1:28 seconds. The lead we squandered at Southern Connecticut came back to haunt us. We start our new season today in training to get prepared for a tough first round opponent .

In the next couple weeks, you will be receiving a letter from Athletic Director Matt Bassett with some exciting news about the current projects and key priorities underway in our athletic department. He will also be asking for you to consider becoming a member of the Gold Wave for the 2009-2010 year. You can support our soccer program directly by returning the pledge card from that mailing, or you can simply click here and make your gift online. I appreciate any support you will consider giving the program.

Thanks

Greetings from the pitch!

Here we are with three games left and we stand at 11-2-2.  We had a tough week last week . Playing at Southern Connecticut at 7 pm on Wednesday night and then having to turn around and play Merrrimack on the road Saturday was physically and mentally demanding but that is what we have to deal with to be a top team in this Confrence. The game at Southern Connecticut, we played well and should have come away with a result. I give a lot of credit to the guys because they responded well and came back and showed a lot of character to win at Merrimack. Last night I told the team that we have to remember that we still have to take one game at a time and that game is Bloomfield at 4 pm today, who will be ready to give us a game. This team has worked hard this year and we must continue that work rate and mentality for the rest of the season.

Thanks for your continued support!

Greetings from the Pitch at Le Moyne

We are almost halfway thru our season and right know we are 6-1-1 and ranked 21st in the Nation. Last night we had a great win over Franklin Pierce. They were a very good team and have an excellent program. I was very happy for our players since Franklin Pierce is the team that knocked us out of the NCAA Tournament the last two years. We have two big games coming up. First on Saturday, which is Bentley, who is playing very well and will be a tough battle at Bentley.  Second we have Assumption next week who is also playing very well and always a tough opponent. Thanks for your continued support.

Greetings from the Pitch at Le Moyne.

We are currently  2-0-1.  We had a nice win on Saturday vs. Dowling in overtime. This was not  only a Huge win because they are a good program and they were 2008 National Runner-up, but we had some players step up in place of players that were injured. Today, we play Wilmington, who will offer us a very tough Match as they are #2 in the Region. On Sunday, we start Confrence play and we play Southern New Hampshire, who is currently #1 in the Region. I would like to thank all the alumni who have been at the games and have sent numerous emails with regard to the upcoming season. The support has been overwhelming.

Thanks,
