Le Moyne College Fan Guide
TAILGAITING
Tailgaters should do so in a responsible manner,
respectful of the campus and other Dolphin and visiting fans. For
the safety and enjoyment of all fans, please keep the following
guidelines in mind when tailgating at Le Moyne College athletic
events.
The the map below indicates approved locations for tailgating at
all home events.
PARKING GUIDELINES
Parking is free for individuals attending athletic events at Le
Moyne College in the designated parking lots. (see map above)
Parking permits are required in all other on-campus parking lots.
Please note that parking is not permitted behind the athletic
center. This area is for emergency vehicles only
GRILLS
The usage of charcoal, propane and coleman grills are
allowed at all athletic events in the designated area only (Lot A
& AA). For the safety of fans, grills should be kept away from
tents and must be at least 10 feet from all buildings. Disposal of
red hot charcoals will be available in the barrels provided in the
designated tailgating lot (Lot A & AA, see
event parking map below). Camp fires and portable
generators are prohibited.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES POLICY
Persons under 21 years of age are prohibited from purchasing,
possessing or consuming alcoholic beverages. Person 21 and over are
prohibited from possessing open containers and consuming alcoholic
beverages except in rooms, suites, dining facilities, or at
registered events( see information in student handbook).
TENTS & CANOPIES
Portable tents and canopies are permitted at the
discretion of game management and security staff as long as they do
not exceed 200 square feet. Tents and canopies cannot impede on
parking spots or traffic patterns. Also, tents and canopies cannot
block spectator’s sightlines of playing fields.
RAIN STATIONS
There are NO rain stations. Please plan accordingly in
the case of inclement weather.
RECYCLING
Please help us keep our campus clean by bagging your trash and
using the recycling containers. Please be courteous to Le Moyne
College and place all recyclable glass, plastic, and aluminum
containers in provided barrels located throughout campus.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are available in athletic buildings during
normal business hours. Also, for baseball, restrooms are available
at the South end of Rockwell Field.

Directions to Campus
From the New York State Thruway - Eastbound:
Take Thruway Exit 39. Follow 690 East and take Exit 16S
Thompson Road South. Drive approximately 0.5 miles to Springfield
Road. Turn right onto Springfield Road and the Thomas J. Niland
Athletic Complex is the second driveway on the left.
From the New York State Thruway - Westbound:
Take Thruway Exit 35. Follow Thompson Road South for approximately
3 miles. Turn right onto Springfield Road and the Thomas J. Niland
Athletic Complex is the second driveway on the left.
From Interstate 81:
Take Interstate 81 to 690 East. Take Exit 16S Thompson Road South.
Follow Thompson Road South for approximately 0.5 miles to
Springfield Road. Turn right onto Springfield Road. The Thomas J.
Niland Athletic Complex is the second driveway on the left.
