CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Body Sculpt

A muscle conditioning class using light to moderate weights at high reps.  This class is designed to sculpt your body in a fun and fast way.

Boot Camp

A high energy calorie blasting workout combining stability and cardiovascular conditioning.  First you will focus on core and full body conditioning.  Second will bring equipment, light weights, and a creative twist to working out in a group.

Cardio Kickboxing

A high energy cardio class with kickboxing combinations.  Learn basic punches mixed intermittently with a variety of movements that target cardiovascular endurance and increase agility and coordination.

Cycle & Strength

The class starts with cardio on the bikes, then finishes with strength training, using equipment for upper/lower body/mats for core.

Spinning

With no complicated moves to learn, a motivating group environment, top-notch instructors and music that keeps your legs peddling, you'll have a blast when you ride to a stronger you.

Zumba

A fusion of Latin and international music creates an effective low impact workout.  A variety of fast and slow rhythms help tone and sculpt the body, while you learn easy to follow dance steps.

The Le Moyne College Recreation and Fitness Center has unveiled a schedule of new programming for fitness classes.  Students, faculty and staff have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of fitness and recreational classes that include Zumba, Boot Camp, spinning, body sculpting, circuit training, strength training and more.

Classes are FREE to Le Moyne students, faculty and staff. Those individuals with year-long or semester-long memberships to the recreation center can participate in the classes (if space is available) for $5.00 per class.

The Le Moyne College community can view the new schedule and sign-up for these classes by logging on to the Recreation Center website: www.lemoynedolphins.com/reccenter.  Two weeks prior to each class, a sign-up form will be available. A limited number of spots are available for each class.

The unveiling of this enhanced recreation and fitness schedule is the first step in developing a comprehensive recreation and fitness program.  Additional programming is set to be developed in the areas of intramurals, club sports and instruction.
