Aidan Fuller (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference men's golf Co-Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
Fuller, honored by the conference as the golfer of the week for the second time in the last three weeks, earned medalist honors to lead the Dolphins to a first-place finish at the ADPRO Sports Invitational last Monday and Tuesday. He started off the invitational with a 73 in Monday's morning round to post the top score. He then shot a 75 in the second round to slide into a two-way tie for second place. Fuller, who earned his second medalist honors in a span of nine days, then posted the event's best round on Tuesday, a one-under par 71, to move back atop the scoreboard with a three-round score of three-over par 219.
Over Le Moyne's five events in the Fall season, during which the Dolphins recorded three wins, a second-place finish and a fourth-place finish, Fuller registered a scoring average of 73.27 over 11 rounds. In addition to his two victories, he posted a fourth-place finish and two ties for sixth-place, while he tallied three rounds at par or better.
The Dolphins, who have won six events over the last 13 months, open the Spring season on Saturday, March 14 at the Seventh Annual St. James Plantation Invitational hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania at The Founders Club at St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C.
