Coach Taylor presented Lauren with her official team jersey featuring her favorite number, 21. The team captains gave Lauren an official warm-up jacket. Before the team broke to take on Siena, where the Dolphins won 8-4, Lauren rallied the team at midfield.

A 13-year old from West Genesee, Lauren is involved with Team IMPACT, a non-profit program that matches up children facing life-threatening illnesses. Core to their model is harnessing the power of teamwork by matching these courageous kids with college athletic teams. Team IMPACT children are drafted onto local college athletic teams and, to the greatest extent possible, become an official member of the team for the duration of their treatment and beyond. Lauren is joining the Dolphins during their fall season and off-season program as they prepare for the 2015 season.
