161 LE MOYNE STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO 2009 NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE COMMISSIONER’S SPRING HONOR ROLL.

SOUTH EASTON, MA – The Northeast-10 Conference announced today the 2009 NE-10 Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll. In total, 2,619 student-athletes representing each of the NE-10’s 15 member institutions were included in this year’s list. Le Moyne College had 161 student-athletes recognized for their success in the classroom.

The list was determined by each school’s Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) with student-athletes having met and/or exceeded a minimum of a 3.0 semester grade point average.

In the spring semester, Le Moyne student-athletes compiled a team semester GPA of 3.13 and increased their team cum GPA to 3.07, the highest recorded marks dating back to 2003-04. Since the 2003-04 academic year, Le Moyne student-athletes have had 12 consecutive semesters with an average team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, 63% of student-athletes had a semester GPA of 3.0 or greater and 60% have cumulative GPA’s of 3.0 or greater.

Men’s Tennis and Women’s Swimming & Diving took top team honor by both posting a 3.38 semester GPA.
