PARRINO NAMED MAAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR MAY 6TH
SYRACUSE, NY - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has named Andy Parrino (Brockport, NY/Brockport) as the player of the week for May 6th. The junior shortstop led the Dolphins with a .478 batting average (11 for 23) in a 4-2 week.
Parrino connected for two doubles and two homeruns as he drove in 12 runs and scored nine times. The Dolphins defeated Binghamton 21-16 in a slugfest on Tuesday and split a doubleheader with St. Bonaventure on Wednesday. Le Moyne won the first two games in the series with Siena 9-7 & 8-4, but dropped the Sunday finale 10-8.
The Dolphins will travel to Manhattan this weekend for a series with the Jaspers. Manhattan is currently atop the MAAC standings with a 19-1 conference record. Le Moyne is currently in second with a conference mark of 16-3.
