LE MOYNE BASEBALL HOLDS ANNUAL SCOUT DAY ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5TH
The Le Moyne College baseball team held its annual "Scout Day" on Friday, October 5th at Rockwell Field. The club had an opportunity to showcase its talents in a pro-style workout in front of Major League Baseball scouts in preparation for the MLB Draft next June.
In 2007, three Dolphins signed professional contracts with Major League clubs. Bobby Blevins (RHP) and Andy Parrino (SS) were drafted by the Los Angles Dodgers and San Diego Padres respectively. Relief pitcher Ryan Woods signed a free agent deal with the Kansas City Royals. In Steve Owens' eight seasons as Le Moyne Head Coach, 15 Dolphins have signed professional baseball contracts.
