WHEELING, W.VA - Bryant University shot a round one total of 319 good enough for a three shot advantage over Pace University (322) at the NCAA Division II Men's Northeast Region Golf Tournament at Speidel Golf Club. Bentley and LeMoyne trail the Bulldogs by just four strokes at 323.
Post University's Lloyd Notley and Pace University's Dan Psinakis share the individual lead after four-over-par 75's. They have a one shot lead on Goldey Beacom's Steve Cutler (76) and Patrick Schwarze (76) of St. Thomas Aquinas.
The second round of the 54-hole event tees off on Tuesday. The tournament champion advances to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship at The Meadows in Allendale, MI May 22-25.
