LE MOYNE CAPTURES FIRST ECAC DIVISION II GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP AT DRUMLINS COUNTRY CLUB. TESORI WINS CO-MEDALIST HONORS.
SYRACUSE, NY - Le Moyne College captured the 2007 ECAC Division II Golf Championship at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y. The two-day total of 585 (+17) was three shots clear of the second place team from Bryant and six shots in front of third place Adelphi.
Le Moyne's Joe Tesori and St. Thomas Aquinas' Nick Zolotas earned co-medalist honors after posting a two-day score of 143. Rob Hunt from Goldey-Beacom and Bobby Leopold from Bentley finished in a tie for third with scores of 144 (+2). Tim Martins finished in tie for fifth place with a score of 145 (+3) for the Dolphins
Low round honors went to Scott Congdon from Bryant who posted a 67 (-4) on day two.
