DOLPHINS PLACE IN A TIE FOR 5TH AT THE 2008 LE MOYNE
INVIATIONAL
MARCELLUS, NY - The Le Moyne golf team finished in a tie for 5th
place at the 2008 Le Moyne College Invitational held at the Links
at Sunset Ridge this weekend. Tim Martins +5 score of 149 placed
him seventh overall in a field of 86 golfers.
St. Thomas Aquinas earned top team honors with a score of 601.
Bryant and Pace finished in a tie second overall, four shots of the
pace. AIC placed fourth overall with a score of 615, two shot ahead
of Le Moyne-A and UMass Lowell.
Bryant’s Nick Caccia earned medalist honors with a +2 score
of 144. AIC’s Garrett Beyor was just one stroke off the pace
and placed second.
Other notable scores for Le Moyne, Freshman Brian Rigney shot a +8
score of 152 for the event.
Le Moyne wraps up their regular season schedule next weekend as
they travel to AIC for the AIC Invitational.
