GOLF: LE MOYNE TIES FOR SECOND AT ASSUMPTION
COLLEGE SHOOTOUT
Sutton, Mass. - Le Moyne College senior Tim Martins
(Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) finished in a tie for
4th place and shot a 75 leading the Dolphins men's golf
team to a tie for second place at the Assumption College Shootout
on Tuesday afternoon at Blackstone National Golf Course. Le Moyne
finished with a team score of 306 as Adelphi University won the
match with a score of 294.
In addition to Martins, Le Moyne placed three more golfers in the
top 15 for the one-day event. Junior Andrew Lloyd (Oswego,
N.Y./Oswego) finished tied for 9th place with a
score of 76. Sophomore Anthony Viskovich
(Massena, N.Y./Massena) finished just one shot
behind Lloyd and tied for 13th with a score of 77.
Kevin Jackson (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittenango)
rounded out Le Moyne's top 15 finish, tying for 15th
place with a score of 78.
The Dolphins will be in action next when they participate in the
Colgate Invitational at Seven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton, N.Y. on
Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13.
