MARTINS PICKS UP NORTHEAST-10 MEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK
HONORS
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne College senior Tim Martins
(Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) has been named the Northeast-10
Conference men's golf player of the week, as announced by the
conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
Martins earned Northeast-10 weekly honors for the first time this
season and for the third time in his career after averaging a score
of 74.67 over three rounds last week. Martins tied for fourth with
a 75 at the Assumption College Shootout on Tuesday at Blackstone
National C.C. before carding rounds of 76 and 73 to finish in a tie
for eighth at the Colgate Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at
Seven Oaks Golf Course.
The Dolphins return to action on Sunday and Monday at Wintonbury
Hills Country Club in Bloomfield, Connecticut for the Northeast
Intercollegiate Championship.
