LAURENCE EKPERIGIN NAMED TO SPORTING NEWS PRESEASON ALL-AMERICA TEAM
Syracuse, N.Y. - Le Moyne College junior forward Laurence Ekperigin (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) has been named a preseason honorable mention All-American by The Sporting News/Street & Smiths's in their college basketball preview magazine.
Ekperigin, one of four players from the Northeast-10 Conference
to be honored by the 
magazine, was a 2007-08 Daktronics All-Northeast Region Second
Team selection and First Team All-Northeast-10 Conference honoree
as a sophomore. Ekperigin led the Dolphins in scoring and
rebounding at 17.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game during his
second season on the Heights. Ekperigin posted 11 double-doubles
and registered a career-high 29 points against No. 1 Bentley and 17
rebounds against Saint Anselm.
2008-09 season ticket packages priced at $60 each are still available. The first 80 season ticket packages purchased will include a free first-level ticket to the Le Moyne men's contest against Syracuse University on Sunday, Nov. 16. Also, as part of the package, season-ticket holders will be able to attend a free pregame tailgate at the Henninger Athletic Center for the Le Moyne/Syracuse game, a free reception at the Carrier Dome compliments of the Alumni & Parent Programs, free coach transportation to and from the Carrier Dome and a free Le Moyne Dolphins t-shirt.
Le Moyne opens the regular season on Sunday, Nov. 16 against Syracuse University as part of the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic at 6:30 p.m.
