LE MOYNE FREEZES SAINT ANSELM, 8-0. MATT CASSALIA REGISTERS HAT TRICK FOR DOLPHINS.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - No. 5 Le Moyne blanked Northeast-10 Conference foe Saint Anselm at Solvay High School, earning the team's first shutout since a 22-0 win over American International on April 18, 2006. The Dolphins (6-2) evened their conference mark at 2-2 while Saint Anselm (2-6) fell to 0-4 in Northeast-10 play.

Senior Jared Corcoran (Concord, N.H./Concord) collected four saves and sophomore Doug McIver (Altamont, N.Y./Albany Academy) stopped another to share the shutout. For the game, the Dolphins outshot the Hawks, 37-12.
Midfielder Matt Cassalia (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) rocketed in the game's first goal at the 11:46 mark of the first quarter. The junior finished with a game-high three goals. Sophomore Tim Spillett (Camillus, N.Y./West Genesee) netted a pair of second-half goals and assisted on two others to lead all Dolphins in total scoring. Alex Bily (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee), Mike McDonald (Latham, N.Y./Shaker) and Keith Vetter (Jamesville, N.Y./Jamesville-Dewitt) rounded out Le Moyne's goal scoring.
