USILA ANNOUNCES PLAYER OF THE YEAR AND ALL-AMERICA
AWARDS
Attack: Lt. Col. J. I. (Jack) Turnbull Award: MIKE
MCDONALD
For the second consecutive season, Mike McDonald earned
first-team All-America honors. He led the Dolphins in scoring with
28 goals and 24 assists. No was bigger than the game winner of the
National Championship game as McDonald scored the deciding goal
with just :01 remaining. McDonald was named the MOP of the game.
Position Awards: Face-off Specialist: BRIAN GRIFFIN
Brian Griffin won .715 percent of his face-offs for the
Dolphins in 2007. Griffin also contributed with 13 goals and three
assists, many coming directly off won face-offs. This is his first
All-American honor.
Goalie: Ensign C. Markland Kelly, Jr. Award: JARED
CORCORAN
Jared Corcoran will leave Le Moyne was one of the most
decorated players in program history. In four years, he has
compiled a 61-2 record in goal, won three National Championships
and was named Goalkeeper of the Year three times.
