ANGELO REINA NAMED NE-10 MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne sophomore Angelo Reina
(Frankfurt, N.Y./Utica Notre Dame) has been honored as the
Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer player of the week, as
announced by the conference office on Monday, Oct. 6.
Reina, the conference's co-freshman of the year last season, was
named the conference player of the week after registering six
points on three goals in the Dolphins' 2-0 week. Reina opened the
week with a pair of goals in Le Moyne's 3-0 non-conference victory
over Nyack on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Reina capped the week with a
breakaway goal at the 16:19 mark of the contest of Le Moyne's 2-1
win over #13 nationally-ranked Merrimack on Saturday.
Le Moyne (8-2-2, NE-10 5-2-1), which has won four consecutive matches and is unbeaten in its past five contests, hosts New Haven in Northeast-10 Conference action Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m.
