SIX DOLPHINS EARN MEN'S SOCCER NORTHEAST-10 ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne College senior midfielder Brandon Morse (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee) and senior forward Matthew Pecheone (New Hartford, N.Y./New Hartford) have been named to the Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer All-Conference First Team, as announced by the conference office on Friday, Oct. 31. Sophomores Sean Lawlor (Kirkham, Preston/Baines School) and Angelo Reina (Frankfurt, N.Y./Utica Notre Dame) and freshmen midfielders Jesse Carr (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) and Bryce Martin (Cazenovia, N.Y./Chittenango) also earned postseason recognition from the conference.

Morse, a second team selection as a junior, was a starter in all 17 games he appeared this season. From his central midfield position, Morse tallied a career-high 15 points on six goals and three assists. Morse was successful on four-of-four in penalty kick opportunities and recorded three game-winning goals for the Dolphins.

Pecheone, a member of the third team as a junior and second team as a sophomore, finished the season tied for first among the conference's scoring leaders in points and goals scored. Pecheone, a starter in all 17 games he appeared, tallied 11 goals and five assist for 27 points. The 11 goals rank him in a tie for 10th on the program's season-single goals charts. For his career, Pecheone has recorded 28 goals and 10 assists for 66 points, the eighth most goals and tied for eighth most points in the program's history.

Lawlor, named to the all-Conference second team, started all 18 games along the back line for the Dolphins. Lawlor anchored a defense that allowed just 0.86 goals per game from his center back position. He also contributed three goals and one assist when pushed up on scoring opportunities.

Reina, the conference's co-freshman of the year last season, earned a spot on the third team after starting 17 games this season. Reina finished second on the team with seven goals and two assists for 16 points.

Carr, named to the conference's All-Rookie Team, tallied 11 points as a starter in all 18 games. Carr scored two goals from his center midfield position, while also dishing out a conference-best seven assists. Carr's seven assists are tied for the seventh most in a season in program history.

Martin, who appeared in all 18 games and started 13, joined Carr on the All-Rookie Team. Martin netted a pair of goals for four points from his outside midfield position.

Le Moyne (12-4-2, NE-10 9-3-1), the fourth seed, open Northeast-10 Conference tournament action at home on Sunday, Nov. 2 against fifth-seeded Merrimack at 12:00 p.m. Earlier this season, the Dolphins snapped a four-game losing streak to the Warriors with a 2-1 win.
