Syracuse, N.Y. - Le Moyne College senior midfielder Brandon Morse (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee) and sophomore defender Sean Lawlor (Kirkham, Preston/Baines School) have been named to the 2008 Daktronics men's soccer East Region Second Team, as voted on by the region's sports information directors and announced on Thursday, November 13.

Morse, named to the Northeast-10 Conference First Team, has started in all 20 games he has appeared this season. From his central midfield position, Morse has tallied a career-high 16 points on six goals and four assists. Morse has been successful on four-of-four penalty kick opportunities and has recorded three game-winning goals for the Dolphins.

Lawlor, named to the all-conference second team, has started all 21 games along the back line for the Dolphins. Lawlor has anchored a defense that has allowed just 0.91 goals per game from his center back position. He has also contributed four goals and one assist when pushed up on scoring opportunities. In Le Moyne's 2-1 double-overtime victory at UMass Lowell in the semifinals of the Northeast-10 tournament, Lawlor scored the game-winner off a free kick in the 103rd minute.

The teams are sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition. The team is voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
