MSOC: DAVIDE DIPAOLA NAMED NORTHEAST-10 MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE
WEEK
South Easton, Mass. - Le College senior back Davide DiPaola
(Rochester, N.Y./Greece-Athena/Niagara) has been named the
Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer player of the week, as
announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
DiPaola, a starter in all 15 games played along the backline,
scored a pair of game-winning goals on headers in Le Moyne's 2-0
week. DiPaola headed in the game-winning goal off a free kick in
the 86th minute in the 3-1 non-conference win over Bloomfield on
Tuesday afternoon. DiPaola tallied his fourth career goal off a
diving header in the 79th minute to put the Dolphins in the lead in
a 2-1 win over Stonehill on Saturday.
Le Moyne (13-2-2, NE-10 9-2-1) closes out the regular season on
Tuesday against The College of Saint Rose at 3:30 p.m. at the
University at Albany.
