MSOC: REINA AND LAWLOR LEAD FOUR DOLPHINS NAMED NORTHEAST-10 ALL-CONFERENCE

South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne College junior forward Angelo Reina (Frankfort, N.Y./Utica Notre Dame) and junior back Sean Lawlor (Kirkham, Preston/Baines School) have been named to the Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer First Team, as voted on by the league's 14 head coaches and announced by the conference office on Friday afternoon. Senior goalkeeper Steve White (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) was named to the Second Team, while sophomore midfielder Jesse Carr (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) was selected to the Third Team.

Reina, recognized by the conference for the third consecutive year after being named to the third team in 2008 and as the co-freshman of the year and a second team pick in 2007, has tallied a career-high 14 goals as a starter in all 18 games this year. In addition to the 14 goals, Reina has dished out a team-high-tying six assists to finish the regular season with 34 points. Reina ranks second in the conference in points and goals scored, while being tied for third in assists. The 34 points are the fifth-highest single-season total in the program's history and the most since 2001, while the 14 goals are tied for the fifth-best and the most since Scott Newman '05 posted 14 in 2003 and 2004. Through 59 career games, Reina is seventh on the program's career points chart with 73 and tied for seventh in career goals with 31.

Lawlor, honored for the second time after being named to the all-Conference second team last season, has started 16 games along the back line for the Dolphins. Lawlor anchors a defense that has allowed just 0.79 goals per game through the regular season from his center back position. He has also contributed a pair of goals and one assist when pushed up on scoring opportunities.

White, the conference's leader in minutes played each of the last two years, has started all 18 games this season and gone the distance in 17. White has posted a 0.82 goals against average, six shutouts and a .810 save percentage in making 64 saves. White's goals against average ranks third in the conference and 18th nationally, while his shutout total is third-highest in the NE-10. Over a span of six games from September 23 until October 10, White did not allow a goal for 467 minutes and 56 seconds. In his 78-game career, White has set new program standards in wins (48) and shutouts (23), while posting a 1.17 goals against average, the second-best in the program's history.

Carr, a member of the conference's All-Rookie Team last year, has tallied 10 points as a starter in 14 of his 16 games played this season. Carr has scored two goals from his center midfield position, while also dishing out a team-high-tying six assists. After being held scoreless through the team's first nine games, Carr has scored a goal or dished out an assist in six of the last nines games.

Le Moyne (14-2-2, NE-10 10-2-1), the second seed, opens Northeast-10 Conference tournament action at home on Sunday, Nov. 1 against seventh-seeded Bentley at 1:00 p.m. Earlier this season, the Dolphins topped the Falcons 2-0.
