DOLPHINS SWEEP NAZARETH ON FRIDAY EVENING; SPLIT AGAINST HARTWICK ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON

SYRACUSE, NY - After defeating Nazareth on Friday evenings, the Le Moyne College women's swimming and diving team defeated Hartwick 145-98 winning nine of the thirteen events at the Rev. Vincent Ryan Pool. Senior standout Allison Lesher won three individual events including the 1000 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and the 200 breaststroke. Genevieve Suits (200 freestyle), Shelley McNamee (50 freestyle), Meghan Nugent (200 butterfly), and Lauren Ziemann (100 freestyle) all won first place in their individual heats.

The men's swimming and diving team fell short with a score of 145-98. Freshman Jerry Dumary led the way for the Dolphins winning the 200 IM and the 200 breaststroke. Zach Hisert also played a key role for the Dolphins winning both diving events. Junior Ricky Chidsey also placed first in the 100 freestyle.

Both teams return to action on Saturday, November 17th at 1 PM when visiting St. Lawrence comes to Syracuse.
