The Northeast-10 Conference has announced the members of the 2007-2008 Mens and Womens Swimming & Diving All-Academic Teams. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the teams competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution. The Northeast-10 All-Academic Teams are chosen by a vote of the Northeast-10 Sports Information Directors. Alfred University topped the 15 team competition collecting 1,197.50. Le Moyne collected 636 points. [more] ![]() Feb 13, 2008LE MOYNES RICKY CHIDSEY AND NICOLE MURPHY RECEIVE NORTHEAST-10 SWIMMING ATHLETE OF THE WEEKSOUTH EASTON, Mass. Mens Swimming, Ricky Chidsey a junior from Liverpool, N.Y. received NE-10 Athlete of the Week. Chidsey led the way for the Dolphins Friday the 8th, in their loss to Hamilton, capturing four first place finishes. He was also part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:37.24) and captured individual victories in the 50 backstroke (24.20), 100 backstroke (52.05) and the 200 IM (1:58.35). [more] ![]() Feb 8, 2008WOMEN REGAIN WINNING WAYS WITH VICTORY OVER HAMILTON, MEN DROP FOURTH STRAIGHTSYRACUSE, NY - The Le Moyne women's swimming and diving team returned to their winning ways on Friday as they defeated Hamilton 171-117 in the final home meet of the season and improved to 11-1 on the year. The men dropped their fourth consecutive meet by the score of 166-121. Both teams will now prepare for the UNYSCSA meet beginning on Feb. 20th (women) and Feb. 27th (men). The 123-116 loss marked the first for the women in 11 dual meets this seaosn. Falling to Ithaca 150-85, the men have lost three straight meets. [more] ![]() Jan 26, 2008RIT SWIMS PAST LE MOYNE MEN SWIMMING & DIVING; WOMEN REMAIN UNDEFEATED AND IMPROVE TO 10-0ROCHESTER, NY - The swimming & diving teams traveled to RIT for a dual meet on Saturday.
