LE MOYNE WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO CORTLAND, 8-1, IN SEASON
OPENER
Cortland, N.Y. - Cortland State won all six singles matches to take
an 8-1 non-conference victory over the Le Moyne College women's
tennis team on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Cortland State.
Le Moyne recorded its lone victory at the number two doubles spot
as junior Marielle Artessa (Syracuse, N.Y.) and
freshman Caroline Tisdell (Syracuse, N.Y/Christian Brothers
Academy) topped Meg Cole and Kristina Lazzaro by the score
of 8-2.
The Dolphins (0-1) open their Northeast-10 Conference schedule on
Saturday, September 13th as they travel to North Andover, Mass. to
take on Merrimack at 11:30 AM.
