DOLPHINS FALL TO ST. MICHAEL’S 7-2 IN NE-10 ACTION; PERSIA & GLEASON PICK UP FIRST CAREER SINGLES VICTORIES

COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Le Moyne College men’s tennis team fell to St. Michael’s by the score of 7-2 on Sunday. Freshmen Joe Persia (Spencerport, N.Y. / Spencerport) and Andrew Gleason (Gorham, Maine / Cheverus) claimed their first career singles victories as the Dolphins fell to 0-3, 0-2 NE-10.

Persia prevailed in two sets with a 6-3, 6-4 decision over Adam Berzinsky. Gleason cruised over David Besserer with a 6-1, 6-2 deicision.

Le Moyne returns to action in two weeks when they host Bentley on Sunday, September 28th at 11:00 AM.
