ST. MICHAEL’S EDGES DOLPHINS 6-3; COHEN & ARTESSA CAPUTRE SINGLES VICTORIES

Colchester, VT - The women’s tennis team fell to St. Michael’s by the score of 6-3 on Sunday. Junior Allison Cohen (Fayetteville, NY / Jamesville-DeWitt) captured a victory in number-one singles with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Marran Ranks. Junior Marielle Artessa (Syracuse, NY / Henninger) was also victorious in singles with a 7-6, 6-1 victory over Jackie Smullen.

The Dolphins rounded out their scoring with a 8-5 victory by Molly Slifer (Henrietta, NY / Bishop Kearney) and Liz Rhode (heYan, NY / Penn Yan).

The Dolphins fall to 0-3, 0-2 NE-10 on the season and return to action on Sunday, September 28th as they host Bentley at 11:00 AM.
