LE MOYNE WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO CORTLAND, 8-1, IN SEASON
OPENER
Syracuse, N.Y. - Cortland State won five of six singles matches to
take an 8-1 non-conference victory over the Dolphins on Wednesday
at Le Moyne College.
Le Moyne recorded its lone victory at the number one singles spot
as senior Tirzah Walrath (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland)
topped Loraine Jelinek by the score of 6-3, 6-4.
The Dolphins (0-1) open their Northeast-10 Conference schedule on
Saturday, September 12th as they host Merrimack College at 10:00 AM
at the Niland Athletic Complex.
