MTEN: DOLPHINS DROP FIRST MATCH OF THE SEASON TO MERRIMACK
6-3.
SYRACUSE, NY - Sophomore Dan Sullivan (Auburn, NY /
Auburn) earned a win in #1 singles and teamed up with
Brian Rice (Syracuse, NY / Westhill) for a doubles
victory, but it wasn’t enough as the Dolphins fell to
Merrimack 6-3 in Le Moyne’s first NE-10 match of the
fall.
Sullivan was stretched to three sets, but claimed the victory 6-4,
5-7, 10-6 over Max Eppley of the Warriors. Le Moyne’s only
other singles victory was by sophomore Cameron Smith
(Conklin, NY / Susquehanna Valley) who earned his third
career singles victory again Jon Ravenelle 6-4, 4-6, 11-9.
The Dolphins will hit the road for their next match as they travel
to face Hamilton on Sunday, September 13th at 11:00 a.m.
