CROSS COUNTRY: LE MOYNE MEN RANKED TENTH IN NORTHEAST REGION
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College men’s cross country team is ranked tenth in the first Northeast Regional poll of the 2005 season.
UMass Lowell tops the poll, followed by Stonehill, Bentley, Southern Connecticut, C.W. Post, Bryant, Merrimack, New Haven, Saint Michael’s and Le Moyne.
Freshman Peter Gratien (East Syracuse,
N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) topped the Le Moyne runners in
the first two races of the season. Sophomore Patrick
Stagnitta (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) led the way
with a 47th place finish in the National Catholic
Championship held at Notre Dame.
