Kelsey Ryan earns NCAA Division II All-Academic Women's Cross Country Individual Honors.
Syracuse, N.Y.- Le Moyne Sophomore Kelsey Ryan's (Warsaw, NY / Livonia) achievements in the classroom and on the cross country trails have earned her NCAA Division II All-Academic honors. In addition to her national honors, Ryan was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic team.
In 2006, Ryan finished 30th overall and second among Le Moyne runners as the Dolphins placed sixth among 20 schools at the NCAA Division II regional. She ran 33rd at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship with a time of 20:32. She finished a season-high 10th at the Le Moyne Invitational and was among the top 100 of nearly 300 runners at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic in Orlando.
To qualify for Division II All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 (on 4.0 scale) and finish in the top 30 at the regional cross country championships.
