MCANDREW PLACES 33RD AT IONA MEET OF CHAMPIONS, TEAM FINISHES 17TH
IONA, N.Y. - Sophomore Jake McAndrew continued his streak of impressive events has he placed 33rd overall in the Iona Meet of Champions. McAndrew recorded a time of 26:16.3 against a field of over 200 runners, mostly from the Division I level. The Dolphins finished overall in 17th place.
The host Iona Gaels captured their second straight and fifth Meet of Champions title in the last six years. The squad has nine times in the 13 year history of the event.
The Dolphins will travel to Geneseo on Saturday, September 29th for the Geneseo Invitational slated to begin at 10:00 am
