MCANDREW PLACES 13TH AT NCAA REGIONALS; DOLPHINS PLACE 10TH OVERALL
BRONX, NY - Sophomore Jake McAndrew placed 13th at the NCAA Regionals on Saturday. The 10K run was held at Van Cortlandt Park and featured 19 teams and 140 runners. McAndrew's time of 33:03.7 placed him 13th overall. Patrick Stagnitta also had a strong performance finishing 37th.
Stonehill College picked up the team title as three runners (David Metzger, Joe Ryan & Gill Kevin) finished inside the top ten. NYIT's Evans Kigen picked up top honors as UMass Lowell's Stephen DeWitt and Ruben Sanaca finished second and third respectively.
For Le Moyne Pete Gratien placed 73rd overall, followed by Ben Ludovici and Greg Felter.
