GINA MICARONI NAMED NE-10 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne cross country freshman Gina Micaroni (Blossvale, N.Y./Canastota) has been honored as the women's cross country freshman of the week by the Northeast-10 Conference, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Sept. 8.
Micaroni, selected as the women's cross country freshman of the week for the second consecutive week, was honored for her efforts at Saint Rose's Golden Knights Joust. Micaroni completed the three-mile course in 19:21 to place fourth out of 137 runners in leading the Dolphins to a sixth-place finish.
The Dolphins return to action on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Oswego, N.Y. for Oswego State's Pat Peterson Invitational.
