MICARONI & RYAN PLACE 5^TH & 6^TH RESPECTIVELY AT OSWEGO INVITE

Oswego, N.Y. - Freshman Gina Micaroni (Blossvale, N.Y./Canastota) and senior Kelsey Ryan (Warsaw, N.Y./Livonia) crossed the finish line in fifth and sixth place respectively to pace the Dolphins to a 7^th place finish at the Oswego State Invitational on Saturday. Ithaca College claimed victory on the women's side while Houghton College earned top team billing on the men's side.

Micaroni finished the 4.5K meter run in 17:31 in, just :31 off the pace of the day's top-finisher Lindsey Nadolsi of Ithaca College. Ryan finished her race :02 behind her teammate at 17:33. Other Le Moyne notables were Alycia Hall (Medway, Mass./Medway) (43, 19:35), Lauren Walters (West Nyack, N.Y. /Albertus Magnus) (93, 21:09) and Angelina Baggetta (Schenectady, N.Y. / Schalmont) (94, 21:12)

On the men's side, the Dolphins raced an incomplete squad in preparation for next week's events in South Bend, IN. Raph Kopecky (Jamesville, N.Y. / Jamesville-DeWitt) was the Dolphins top-finisher in 68^th place with time of 21:59. Charlie Deragon (Syracuse, N.Y. / West Genesee) finished in 90^th place with a time of 22:44 and Josh Graves (Maryland, N.Y.) and Dylan Carroll (Fulton, N.Y. / Fulton) rounded out Le Moyne's four-man contingent.

Le Moyne travels to South Bend, Indiana and the University of Notre Dame for the National Catholic Championships on Friday, September 19^th.
