GINA MICARONI NAMED NE-10 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN
OF THE WEEK
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne cross country freshman Gina
Micaroni (Blossvale, N.Y./Canastota) has been honored as
the women's cross country freshman of the week by the Northeast-10
Conference, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Sept.
22.
Micaroni, selected as the women's cross country freshman of the
week for the third time in four weeks, was honored for her efforts
at the National Catholic Championships. Micaroni completed the
three-mile course in 19:09 to place 34th out of 287 runners in
leading the Dolphins to a 21st-place finish.
The Dolphins return to action on Friday, October 3rd for the Paul
Short Run on the campus of Lehigh University.
