GINA MICARONI GARNERS FOURTH NE-10 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK HONORS
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne cross country freshman Gina
Micaroni (Blossvale, N.Y./Canastota) has been honored as
the women's cross country freshman of the week by the Northeast-10
Conference, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Oct.
6.
Micaroni, selected as the women's freshman of the week for the
fourth time this season, was honored for her performance at
Lehigh's Paul Short Run on Friday, Oct. 3. Micaroni completed the
six-kilometer course in 22:50 to place 27th out of 260 runners in
leading the Dolphins to a 25th-place finish out of 37 teams.
Le Moyne returns to action at home on Saturday, October 10th for a dual meet against Saint Rose at 11:00 a.m.
