GINA MICARONI GARNERS FIFTH NE-10 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK HONORS
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne cross country freshman Gina
Micaroni (Blossvale, N.Y./Canastota) has been honored as
the women's cross country freshman of the week by the Northeast-10
Conference, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, Oct.
14.
Micaroni, selected as the women's freshman of the week for the
second consecutive week and fifth time this season, was honored for
her winning performance in a home dual meet with Saint Rose on
Saturday, Oct. 11. Micaroni completed the three-mile course in
19:57 to cross the finish line first as the Dolphins fell to the
Golden Knights by one point, 28-27.
Le Moyne returns to action following a weekend off at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at Saint Michael's College on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 11:30 a.m.
