LINDSAY SPAZIANI & BOBBY BLEVINS NAMED LE MOYNE COLLEGE REV. JOHN J. O'BRIEN SENIOR ATHLETE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD WINNERS
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Le Moyne College seniors Lindsay Spaziani and Bobby Blevins have been named recipients of Le Moyne College's Rev. John J. O'Brien Senior Athlete Achievement Award.
Lindsay Spaziani (Horseheads, N.Y. /Horseheads) is a performer who has also made an immeasurable mark on her sport at Le Moyne College. She has been named all-conference on three occasions and earned Northeast Regional first team honors in 2005. Currently, she is only the third player in program history to earn NCAA All-American honors, an honor she earned in 2005. She ranks among the program's career leaders in batting average, hits, runs and games played. She has led the Dolphins to a NCAA regional championship in each of the last two seasons
Bobby Blevins (Briarcliff, N.Y. /Briarcliff) has rewritten the Le Moyne College record books. He was named first team all-conference in 2006 and recognized as one of the premier players at his position in the Northeast. This senior right-hander will leave Le Moyne as the program leader in wins, strikeouts, shutouts and innings pitched. A rock in the rotation for Steve Owens, he has never missed a start to help the Dolphins earn two conference league championship and a birth into the NCAA Tournament in 2004.
The honoring of these two seniors capped the Le Moyne College Gold Wave Senior Athlete Awards Mass & Dinner on May 6th.
