LE MOYNE’S JENNA VANACORE EARNS NE-10 FRESHMAN OF
THE WEEK

Jenna Vanacore (Hicksville, N.Y.) was named Softball NE-10 Freshman
of the week of March 24th.
Vanacore pitched a complete game, four-hitter against Dowling on
Saturday to earn her first career victory. The freshman
right-hander allowed two runs and struck out 10 in seven
innings.
On Monday, Vanacore pitched a perfect game as the Dolphins
faced Molloy in a double header sweeping them 10-6 and 9-0.
Striking out 11 of 21 batters Vanacore proves to be a force to be
reckoned with. This victory gives Vanacore her second win of the
season. Leading the team in strike (27) Vanacore averages a strike
out per inning. Vanacore has appeared in five total games including
three starts and two complete games.
Join Vanacore and the rest of the Dolphins as they travel to face
LIU-CW Post today at 2:30 p.m. The Dolphins kick off their NE-10
schedule as the travel to play S.N. Hampshire Saturday the 29th at
noon.
