DOLPHINS CLAIM TENTH HOME WIN OF THE YEAR WITH FOUR-SET
VICTORY OVER SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Le Moyne College volleyball team capped
a perfect weekend in Northeast-10 Conference action with a four-set
victory over Southern New Hampshire at Ted Grant Court. The
Dolphins (12-17, 6-7 NE-10) finish the home portion of their
schedule with a 10-3 record at home while the Penmen slip to 10-13
overall and 5-8 in conference play.
The Dolphins prevailed 30-25, 33-35, 30-19, 30-24 in four sets.
Krista Prentice finished with 14 kills, 12 digs and four blocks for
Le Moyne and Elizabeth Cheek added 19 kills, nine digs and three
aces. Andrea Sterling collected 15 digs for the Dolphins and Kaylin
Brainerd contributed 51 assists. Caitlin Richardson registered 10
kills and three aces while Jodi Smith added nine kills, five digs
and two aces.
Le Moyne will look to run its Northeast-10 Conference win streak to
three when it travels to St. Michael’s for a 1 p.m. match on
Saturday.
