#7 LE MOYNE FALLS TO SECOND-SEEDED BENTLEY IN NE-10 QUARTERFINALS
The Le Moyne College volleyball team wrapped up the 2007 campaign on Friday as they fell to Bentley in the NE-10 Conference Tournament Quarterfinals. The seventh seeded Dolphins dropped three straight games to the Falcons 30-23, 30-20, 30-26. Le Moyne finishes the season at 13-18, 7-7 in the NE-10.
Jodi Smith led the way for the Dolphins with 11 kills and ten digs. Elizabeth Cheek added nine kills and four aces as Kaylin Brainerd dished out 36 assists. Bentley used 14 kills from Christina Sadowski and 13 from Alex Kearney to secure the straight game victory.
Bentley moves on to face Merrimack in the semifinals tomorrow afternoon. Bryant and Pace also advanced on the first day to earn places in the semifinals at 2:00 PM. The Championship game is slated for 7:00 pm Saturday evening.
