LE MOYNE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL RETURNS HOME FOR THREE GAME HOMESTAND, DOLPHINS HOST LAST SEASON'S NATIONAL RUNNER-UP AIC TUESDAY AT
5:30 P.M.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Winners in two of their last three games, the Le Moyne women's basketball team begins a three-game homestand on Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. game against 2006 NCAA Division II finalist American International. The Dolphins (6-7, 2-6 Northeast-10) are coming off a loss to Assumption, but topped Mercyhurst and C.W. Post in their previous two outings. The game features the top two shot blockers in the Northeast-10 and two of the nation's top ten. Jen Nnanna of AIC tops both the NE-10 and national charts with 3.93 per game. Le Moyne freshman Courtney Coryea is second in the league and 10th nationally with 2.85 blocked shots per game. Senior forward Lindsay Ellis needs just eight rebounds to become the program's 14th player to grab 500 rebounds in a career.

Le Moyne plays three of the nation's top Division II women's basketball programs at home this week. After hosting AIC tonight, the Dolphins meet unbeaten and nationally-ranked No. 5 Southern Connecticut State on Thursday. Perennial power Bentley, which features head coach Barbara Stevens who is 721-197 in 30 seasons, comes to Grant Court on Saturday at 1 p.m.
