SAINT ANSELM WOMEN'S BASKETBALL UPENDS LE MOYNE 50-37, HAWKS USE LATE 10-0 RUN TO FEND OFF DOLPHINS

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Jessica Morgan scored 14 points to lead Saint Anselm to a 50-37 win over Le Moyne in a Northeast-10 Conference women's basketball game at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium. The Dolphins (9-17, 5-16 Northeast-10) close out the regular season on Monday at Southern New Hampshire. Kim Wagoner (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) scored a team-high eight points for Le Moyne.

The Dolphins led 19-16 at the half and opened up a seven-point lead (23-16) on Katie Dunn's (Whippany, N.J./Morris Catholic) jumper with 17:50 remaining. Saint Anselm took its first lead of the second half on Morgan's inside basket that made it 30-29 with 10:36 remaining. The Hawks led 38-35 with just over four minutes left, but closed out the Dolphins with 10 straight points and 12 of the final 14 to win their fourth league game of the season.

Le Moyne enters its final regular season game in a three-way tie for 11^th place in the Northeast-10 Conference. The Dolphins, UMass Lowell and Merrimack are tied with 5-16 league records and Saint Anselm sits one game back with a 4-17 Northeast-10 mark. Le Moyne clinches the 11-seed with a win over Southern New Hampshire on Monday evening. Because Le Moyne beat UMass Lowell and Merrimack in its meetings with those two teams, the Dolphins would be the 11-seed in the 12 team Northeast-10 tournament if all three teams and Saint Anselm (7-19, 4-17 Northeast-10) lose in their finales.
