Both Gladstone and Coryea reach 20 points as the Dolphins
triumph over Pace 73-64
SYRACUSE, NY- Le Moyne knocked off Pace University by the score of
73-64 as three Dolphin players reached double figures in scoring.
Le Moyne improves to 11-11 overall and 8-10 in the NE-10. With the
loss, Pace’s overall record is now 6-15, 5-11 in the
NE-10.
The Dolphins took the lead early and ended the first half ahead of
Pace with a score of 42-31. In the second half, Le Moyne did not
allow Pace to come within six points, maintaining the lead the
entire second half.
Sophomore Courtney Coryea had a game-high of 22 points and five
rebounds while Junior Kathleen Gladstone had a back-to-back game
that tied her 20 point career-high and also added five rebounds.
Freshman Brandy Wangelin came off the bench and contributed with
nine rebounds and junior Katie Dunn scored 14 points including four
3-pointers throughout the game.
Pace was led by Stephanie Klingele with 17 points and four
rebounds. Taylor Losey had 14 points and five rebounds and
Stephanie Rossmy added with 10 points and six rebounds.
The Dolphins will travel to UMass-Lowell on Saturday February 9th
as they take on the River Hawks at 3:30pm.
