LE MOYNE WILL FACE THE #2 SEED DUKE BLUE DEVILS IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE NCAA TOURNAMENT.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The 2007 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament champions Le Moyne College (16-4) will face Duke University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament announced on Monday night. The Dolphins earned a berth into the 16 team tournament via their victory over Monmouth on Friday in the NCAA Play-in game. This marks the third time Le Moyne will appear in the national tournament. The game is scheduled for Sunday, May 13th at 2:00 pm.
The Duke Blue Devils finished the season at 14-3 and in a tie for first place in the ACC. Duke is led by all-conference selections Caroline Cryer (Jr. Attack), Carolyn Davis (So. Midfield), Leigh Juras (Sr. Attack) and Kristin Waagbo (Sr. Attack).
