 SAMANTHA FALCONE & WHITNEY VECCHIO AMONG THE NATION'S ELITE

SYRACUSE, NY - Seniors Samantha Falcone and Whitney Vecchio are among the nation's elite in their respective positions.  Following a 15-5 defeat of Canisius on Sunday, both Dolphins were ranked among the nations best statistically by the NCAA.

Through 13 games, Whitney Vecchio leads the Dolphins in scoring with 40 goals and 19 assists and ranks sixth overall in the country in total points. Additionally, she ranks 20th in points per game, 25th in goals and 23rd in assists.

Goalie Samantha Falcone, Le Moyne's career leader in wins and goals against average, currently leads the nation in save percentage at .556.  She also ranks 18th in the NCAA in saves with 110.

As a team, Le Moyne ranks 20th in the nation in total points with 219 and 26thin scoring offense.

Le Moyne is set to host their final two home games of the season this week. The Dolphins will take on Manhattan on Friday, April 11th at 4:00 PM and Iona on Sunday, April 13th at 1:00 PM.
