Syracuse, NY – The Le Moyne College community gathered Tuesday morning to break ground on a state-of-the-art multi-purpose turf complex. The complex will serve as the new home for both the women's and men's soccer and lacrosse programs and is a key component of Le Moyne's Achieving New Heights capital campaign that has already exceeded the orginal goal of $50 million by $35 million.

Syracuse, N.Y. – Sophomore attacker Rebekah Elmer (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) tied her season-high with four goals but the Le Moyne College women’s lacrosse team dropped its season finale to UAlbany, 12-10, in non-conference action at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins wrapped up the 2009 campaign with a 5-12 record.

Brooklandville, Md. – Sophomore midfielder Mia Valletta (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) tied a season-high with three goals but the Le Moyne College women’s lacrosse team fell short against Cincinnati, 12-10, in non-conference action at St. Paul’s School for Girls Sunday afternoon. Laura Simanski and Ali Mattingly each scored five goals, accounting for 10 of Cincinnati’s 12 goals.
