      <title>ALISON LESHER CAPTURES NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 200 YARD BUTTERFLY AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS</title>

      <description>COLUMBIA, MO -    Senior Alison Lesher earned an individual national championship in the 200 yard butterfly at the 2008 NCAA Division II Swimming &amp; Diving Championships held in Columbia, Missouri.  Lesher's time of 2:01.66 broke the school record and edged out UC San Diego's Jen Sims by 0.18 seconds.  The title is the first ever individual national title in Le Moyne history.</description>

Lesher helped the Dolphins to a 3rd place finish at the NYSWCAA Champions by capturing first place in the 200 butterfly, 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle.       <description>SYRACUSE, NY - Le Moyne hosted the 2008 NYSWCAA Swimming and Diving Championship Feb. 20-23 at Nottingham High school. Senior Alison Lesher placed first in three different individual events (500/200 yard freestyle &amp; 200 yard butterfly). The Dolphins placed third out of 17 teams with 940.50 points. Union College topped the meet with 1,207 points. Ithaca College took second place with 1,016 points.</description>

      <description>SOUTH EASTON, Mass. Men's Swimming, Ricky Chidsey a junior from Liverpool, N.Y. received NE-10 Athlete of the Week. Chidsey led the way for the Dolphins Friday the 8th, in their loss to Hamilton, capturing four first place finishes. He was also part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:37.24) and captured individual victories in the 50 backstroke (24.20), 100 backstroke (52.05) and the 200 IM (1:58.35).</description>
