Third-Ranked Le Moyne Women's Cross Country team off to one of the best starts in school history

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Le Moyne women's cross country team is off to one of the best starts in school history as the Dolphins are ranked third in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division II Northeast Regional Poll. The third-place ranking is the highest ranking the women have received in school history. 

The Dolphins are slotted behind Stonehill, and UMass Lowell which are ranked one and two respectively in the regional poll, and 21st and 24th in the USTFCCCA Division II National Poll. Le Moyne is followed by New Haven, Adelphi, Bentley, C.W. Post,  Merrimack, Southern Connecticut and Bryant rounds out the regional poll.   

Senior Jacquelyn Rappa (Clinton, N.Y./Clinton) has led the Dolphins to two top ten team finishes at the Oswego State Invitational, and the University of Buffalo Stampede Cross Country Invite.  The women will be running in the Le Moyne Invitational Saturday, September 30 at 10:30 a.m. here on the campus of Le Moyne College.  For complete results visit http://www.lemoynedolphins.com/
