SYRACUSE, NY. - Senior Amanda Keegan (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) and Meghan Burgoon (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) scored four goals each to lead Le Moyne past Mount St. Mary's 16-10 at Solvay High School. The Dolphins' non-conference win stopped a three game losing streak and 16 goals represented the second highest total of the season.
With the game tied at four, Le Moyne (4-4) scored six unanswered goals take a 10-6 halftime lead. The Dolphins went on to score the next three goals of the second half, capping of a 9-0 run, putting them ahead for good. Junior midfielder Beth Sierotnik (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Ludden) tallied three goals while Kylie Rosette (Watertown, N.Y/General Brown) scored two goals in the victory. In goal, Samantha Falcone (JR. GK Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) recorded five saves. Mount St. Mary's (0-6) was led by Casey Paris' five goals and Katie Falatch's three points (2 goals, 1 assist).
Le Moyne will be in action next against Villanova on Sunday, March 25th at Noon at Solvay High School.
